Cancellation & Cooling-off 

Scope

This is a readable summary. In case of inconsistency, the Terms & Conditions prevail, especially Sections 5, 6, 7 and 8.
 

Cancellation by the Participant

A. Courses/Trainings

  • ≥ 30 days before start: free.

  • 30–14 days before start: 50% of the fee.

  • < 14 days before start: 100% of the fee.

  • Calculation basis (sliding scale): we use the lowest amount within the applicable sliding scale for the course (capped at what you already paid). Deposit is set off.

  • Business rate: Business Participants always pay the highest tier of the sliding scale.

  • Regret period (goodwill): cancel within 14 days of payment and at least 5 working days before the official start; your prepayment is fully refunded. Refunds processed within 14 days. (Working days = Mon–Fri, excluding Dutch public holidays.)

  • Substitute: you may nominate a substitute free of charge if notified in advance in writing.
     

B. Empathy Sessions and Mediation

  • ≥ 48 hours before the appointment: free.

  • Within 48 hours or no-show: we charge the lowest amount within the sliding scale for that service.
     

Cancellation by the Trainer

  • If the Trainer cancels or reschedules: full refund of amounts received (incl. deposit).

  • Not reimbursed: fees charged by your own bank/payment provider (e.g., transfer, incoming, FX).

  • Refunds via the original payment method and currency, unless agreed otherwise in writing. See Section 6.
     

Cooling-off for Consumers (statutory)

  • Right of withdrawal: Consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period from registration (contract conclusion). See Section 8.

  • Course starting within 14 days at your request: the Trainer may charge proportionate costs for the part already delivered.

  • Refund: upon valid withdrawal we refund amounts received (incl. deposit) within 14 days via the original payment method. Any fees retained by your bank/payment provider are not reimbursed separately.

  • Note: the statutory cooling-off runs from registration, while the goodwill regret period runs from payment.
