Mediation
When communication breaks down, it can become hard to truly hear and understand each other. Conversations may go in circles, emotions rise, and the distance can seem to grow. Mediation can help you reconnect and move forward together.
As an NVC trainer and mediator, I guide conversations where everyone gets the chance to be heard and understood. We explore what is really happening beneath the words and emotions. This brings clarity, understanding and often new possibilities for working things out.
What to expect
During a mediation session I offer a safe and neutral space where each person can share their perspective. The process is based on Nonviolent Communication: listening with empathy, speaking honestly and clearly, and moving beyond blame or fixed positions.
A session might look like this:
-
An introduction and exploration of the situation together
-
Each person gets space to share what is going on, with support to clarify feelings and needs
-
Listening to one another and discovering what is needed to feel understood
-
Finding practical solutions or agreements that work for everyone
The goal is not about winning or losing, but about understanding what matters most to everyone and moving forward from there.
